TEMPLE SEVA
TEMPLE SEVA
EVERY FRIDAY
5:00pm to 7:00pm (US Pacific Time)
In Person
“The quickest way to surrender is service, because service itself is surrender.”
– Swami Premodaya
Temple Seva is a purifying practice of service to the spiritual community. Every Friday, we come together for special projects, cleaning, maintenance, and various tasks, all carried out as a form of worship. Additionally, Temple Seva provides an opportunity for formally initiated disciples of Swami Premodaya to fulfill their monthly service commitments.
JewelTree Center for Spiritual Growth & Guidance is primarily operated by volunteers, and we always welcome assistance in various areas. Below is a list of some opportunities to get involved:
- Cleaning: Help us maintain our sacred space by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and tidying up.
- Landscaping/Gardening: Assist with watering, trimming, pruning, and maintaining the grounds.
- Kitchen: Participate in cleaning, food preparation, and other culinary tasks.
- Content Management: Explore the recorded teachings of Swami Premodaya to create video excerpts, quotes, online courses, and more.
- Event Crew: Serve as a Satsang Ambassador by greeting attendees, assisting the tech crew, setting up and taking down events, or making announcements.
- Transcription Team: Generate written content based on Swami Premodaya’s teachings.
Training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Thank you for being part of JewelTree’s mission. You are very welcome here, and we deeply appreciate your help. JewelTree is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving humanity, and could not exist without the tireless efforts of its hardworking staff, and its truly essential cadre of volunteer seva practitioners.
