Parking Information

JewelTree Center is conveniently located near the intersection of Venice Blvd and South Gramercy Place, in a friendly residential neighborhood. We offer first come, first served on-site parking with free street parking in the surrounding area.

We recommend checking the following streets:
Pico Blvd, Venice Blvd, Wilton, and Cimmaron.

To make your arrival easier, consider:

Temple History

The Gramercy location has been a place of worship and prayer since its construction in 1933. Built initially for the Mogen David Congregation, the building was designed in an Art Deco style by architect David Carthage Coleman.

In 1957, The Gramercy Place property became the Church of Divine Guidance, a non-denominational Black Christian congregation led by Dr. Clayton Donovan Russell, holding services until 2020.

The 7,200-square-foot space was lovingly restored over three years by preservationist Regina O’Brien and Hardy Wronske. Their dedicated efforts revitalized this sacred temple while maintaining its long-standing spiritual tradition. Soon after, JewelTree Center discovered the listing and, recognizing its sacred energy, became its new owner.
